Blogs, Blogs, and more Blogs!

So, I have been trying to think of a way to start this little blog guy for a while now, the whole summer to be exact. I don't know what has kept me quite so long besides the fact that I'm a little bit nervous.

Nervous for rejection? Nah.
Nervous for negative comments? Maybe a little.
Nervous of getting lost in the blogosphere which seems to be growing everyday?

Yup.

Well the only way to get over that is to just jump right in, so I am doing just that. Hello blog world here I am! Phew, after getting over that little hurdle I found another challenge, what to write about. I obviously wanted to talk about my senior year of college, but also other things something more specific. Nothing jumped out at me, sure I have a lot of passions but nothing that I felt I could center a whole blog around.  So I shopped around a little to the people in my life who have blogs, this is what I found;

A good friend of mine, Dara, writes a blog about shoes, and her life, well actually her life in relation to shoes.

Recent shoe purchase of mine, $15 bucks? Yes, please!

 A recent Hofstra alum and classmate of mine, Emily,  writes/models for a collaboration fashion blog.

My boyfriend sometimes contributes to another collaboration blog using Twitter, called Stoop Kid about music and art which is the product of some Syracuse University students.

Two of my fellow PR majors also have blogs of their own, Lisa's is about her everyday college experiences, and Briana's is about her passion (very similar to mine) of wedding planning.

So you've got to be like, "Geez, Charlsie you have a lot of friend's with blogs we get the idea". Yeah well, if those weren't enough, even my Mom blogs.

Yeah she does. [insert womp womp music here]

So what will this blog be about? I'm still working out the kinks on that one but right now, I will be posting about whatever comes into my little head. Of course, by all means, if you have a suggestion throw it out there!
